Politicians join parade protest

A six minute protest was held in Lurgan town centre on the Twelfth evening.

It was part of the ‘graduated response’ to recent Parades Commission rulings. The significance of the six minutes being how long it would take the Orange Order members to walk home in North Belfast along their traditional route. The protest was joined by unionist politicians including representatives from the DUP, UUP and PUP.
