Crowds who gathered for a protest rally in Lurgan last night (Friday) heard there is ‘unwavering support’ for Unionists standing together against the Northern Ireland protocol.

DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson made the comment as he addressed the gathering at Brownlow House. Other speakers included loyalist activist Jamie Bryson and Roy Ferguson, President of the Apprentice Boys of Derry.

The rally followed a parade in which bands and members of the Loyal Orders marched through the town. Many of those who took part carried banners showing opposition to the ‘Irish sea border’.
