The application concerns the chip shop at Kildress Filling Station on the Drum Road. It was submitted on Monday, December 14, by agent ADP Architects on behalf of applicant Dolan Retail Ltd.

If approved the planning application will see a change of use for the premises from the existing chip shop to an off licence.

The application also seeks permission to change the existing commercial garage to a store while retaining the existing shop front and making general alterations to the existing retail unit.

It is anticipated that there will be no additional transport impact on the site as a result of these changes.

The application will be advertised until Tuesday, January 12.
