Euro theme for Halloween

The event will be complemented again by a ‘spooktacular’ opening art festival day, starting at 4pm, with the parade leaving Rushmere Shopping Centre at 7.15pm to Craigavon Watersports Centre with the fireworks display starting at 8pm.

The theme this year is ‘HallowVision’ and young and old alike are encouraged to come along and join in the parade dressed as a freaky, whacky Halloween styled version of a Eurovision contestant.

There will also be a series of dance and music performances by young people in the Sport NI Lottery Funded Active Communities Dance Programme.

Craigavon Borough Council is looking for any groups who would like to be involved in the event, especially those who may want to create a performance or spectacle like traditional dance or something they have already created.

As it’s a Euro theme the Council is particularly interested in having different nationalities involved. They can also provide help from artists with any ideas the public may have.
