Haunted House for Halloween

IT’S that time of year again when ghosts and ghouls come out to play, though the majority of them seem to be concentrated at a house in Belvedere Manor.

For the fifth year running Anne Lavery is turning her home at 26 Belvedere Manor into a Haunted House in aid of charity.

Her house is open to the public for three weeks over Halloween as she aims to scare her visitors senseless as well as raising funds towards community defibrillators.

Anne has already been able to pay for defibrillators in Tannaghmore and St Anthony’s primary schools and hopes this campaign will pay for one for Lurgan town centre.

Anne opened the house in 2008 in memory of her dad Sean Maguire who died of a heart attack in 2007.

The Halloween House is open Monday to Friday from 6pm to 8pm, closed on Saturdays and open on Sunday again from 6pm to 8pm.
