The application submitted by Ciaran McPeake, on behalf of Mid Ulster District Council, seeks permission to demolish the former PSNI station in Maghera and create a new overflow car park for Maghera Leisure Centre.

Development work to enhance the leisure and recreational work around the site at 50 Coleraine Road, Maghera, got underway in October of last year.
