Tis the season... to celebrate the glow

LURGAN is set to sparkle bright this year as the Christmas festivities officially get underway at the annual Christmas lights switch on.

Taking place on Friday 23rd November from 5.00pm-7.30pm, thousands of residents and their little elves will be getting into the holiday spirit with an afternoon of fun-filled festive entertainment including performances from the Little Stars Dance Academy and the amazing Colm Fitzpatrick from Lurgan. Also look out for the wonderful Christmas Angel and Potty Christmas Pixie who will be entertaining the crowds!

Compered by Cool FM’s Connor Phillips, the stage will be bursting alive with a sparkling performance from Kings Park and St Francis Primary School choirs who will be belting out all your favourite Christmas tunes in an exclusive joint performance! The magic doesn’t stop there with sensational band ‘Easy Company’ rounding up proceedings with all your favourite pop and festive tunes to get you into the spirit of the season!

One extra special guest making an appearance is none other than Santa Claus, arriving in style at the plaza to help the Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Carla Lockhart switch on the lights in style.
