Councillor McKillop welcomes repairs for Mill Bridge Liscolman

TUV councillor Sharon McKillop has welcomed confirmation that essential repairs to the Mill Bridge at Liscolman are to be commenced soon.

Commenting on the development, Cllr McKillop stated: “I welcome confirmation that the Mill Bridge at Liscolman is to be repaired. The bridge had become dilapidated in recent years. Indeed the bridge presented a significant risk to local children who have access to it from the local play park.

“After discussions with local residents I urgently raised the matter with Council officials and I am now relieved that the Council agreed to carry out the necessary repairs to ensure that the bridge is fit for purpose.
