Election: Results so far in Armagh Banbridge Craigavon Council election

The counting has just finished for the night for the new Armagh Banbridge Craigavon Council.

So far final declarations have been made in four District Electoral Areas (DEAs).

Last of the declarations came from the Portadown DEA where Jonathan Buckley (DUP), Gemma McKenna (SF), Darryn Causby (DUP), Doug Beattie (UUP) and David Jones (UKIP).

In Lagan River the DUP took three of the five seats with Mark Baxter, Paul Rankin and Hazel Gamble taking seats for the party, the UP took the remaining positions through Marc Woods and Carol Black.

Craigavon’s line-up is Kenneth Twyble (UUP), Robert Smith (DUP), Declan McAlinden (SDLP), Margaret Tinsley (DUP) and Fergal Lennon (SF).

In Cusher the elected representatives are Jim Speers (UUP), Paul Berry (Ind), Gordon Kennedy (UUP), Sharon Haughey (SDLP) and Gareth Wilson (DUP).

Counting will resume in the morning to decide the three remaining DEAs: Lurgan, Banbridge and Armagh.
