Lisburn South stands on the brink of declaration, with five of the six seats filled.

Four of those seats have gone to the DUP - Andrew Ewing, Alan Givan, Paul Porter and Rhoda Walker, the other to the UUP’s Tim Mitchell.

Meanwhile, in Lisburn North, only three of the six seats have been filled, these by Ulster Unionist Brian Bloomfield, Alliance’s Stephen Martin and the DUP’s Scott Carson.

Castlereagh South now has four of its seven seats filled, courtesy of the DUP’s Nathan Anderson, the UUP’s Michael Henderson, the SDLP’s John Gallen and Alliance’s Geraldine Rice.

Party totals now stand at 17 seats for the DUP, eight UUP, five Alliance, two SDLP and one TUV.

All eyes are on Lisburn North where there remains a strong possibility of NI21 securing its one and only council seat, courtesy of Johnny McCarthy.
