Fitzpatrick congratulates students on A-level results

Councillor Fitzpatrick said: “I would like to congratulate all of our students who have received their exam results.

“After two years of hard work, they should be proud of what they have achieved.

“It is fantastic that yet again our students have outperformed their counterparts in England and Wales. We should also praise our dedicated teachers whose role in these excellent exam results often goes unnoticed.

“There will however be a number of students who do not get the results that they required to get their place at University. There are plenty of options for them, so they shouldn’t panic.”
