GAA final to be beamed live to city centre

DERRY City Council is going to beam the GAA All Ireland Football Championship final between Donegal and Mayo into Waterloo Place next Sunday, September 23.

Mayor Kevin Campbell extended his best wishes to the Donegal team ahead of the big final and said they had the full support of the people of Londonderry.

“Everyone in Derry is behind our neighbours in Donegal and hoping that they bring the Sam Maguire Cup up to the North West! I am delighted that the public will be able to come along to Waterloo Place next Sunday and watch the game on the Big Screen and cheer Donegal on, “ he said.
