“When the people of Scotland enter the polling station today (Thursday) they have the choice to either express their allegiance to the United Kingdom or break away and form their own Independent nation.

“When the decision is made, there will be no going back.

“By remaining in the Union, Scotland will be backed up by the strength and security of the United Kingdom.

“As an MP I can see at first hand numerous reasons why the people of Scotland have issues with our current British Government.

“However, a Scotland that votes ‘No’ will provide the basis to renegotiate a more stable and accountable British Government that works better for all of us.”

republicans that despite their campaign of violence for the past 40 years, their brutal
campaign failed and a united Ireland is further away than ever.”
