Praise for rugby team’s triumph
LURGAN Tigers were heartily congratulated at Craigavon Borough Council after their recent achievement at a competition in Italy.
Mayor Alan Carson led the praise of the Primary 7s who are widely regarded as the best under 11 team in Ulster rugby.
DUP Alderman Stephen Moutray added his praise and called for a reception for the lads who are just back from Italy.
Deputy Mayor George Savage said the team was going from strength to strength and urged that they be recognised by the Council.
