Refuse and recycling information
Derry City Council’s Refuse Collection and Recycling Centre’s will operate as normal over the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday’s scheduled for Monday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 5.
Councillor Shaun Gallagher, Chair of Environmental Services, states that normal services will operate with no interruption to refuse collection arrangements. Councils Recycling Centres will also be operating as normal over this period.
He said: “Derry City Council Waste Management section has provisions in place to ensure that there will be no disruption to either of these services over this extended bank holiday period.”
