Restaurant forrevamp

A CITY centre Chinese restaurant is getting rid of a two storey smoking area in order to make room for a new relocated take away counter.

The owners of the Mandarin Palace/Karma complex on Queen’s Quay are going to erect awnings for smokers.

Planners have received the application for “change of use from two storey smoking area to accommodate the relocation of existing take away on ground floor and new kitchen on first floor, with alterations to elevations and new awnings to front elevation to accommodate smokers.”
