During his address, which took the theme of learning from the past, the UUP Leader spoke of his desire for a single education system which could help to bring about true integration of society.

He also spoke about his own education and how at one time he was viewed as ‘a dunce’, but was inspired to excel by a visionary teacher. To read his story get next week’s Londonderry Sentinel, out on Wednesday, March 26 at usual outlets.

Meanwhile, in the attached video Mr Nesbitt admits he was asked some “intelligent” questions while in the City and promises not to be a stranger to the North West.
