With the support of the wider community their newly formed Forbidden Forest Group of making the fright festival a successful annual event for many years to come.

According to a spokesperson for the group, the forest will offer a Halloween experience like no other.

“Set in the atmospheric, eerie forest of Pomeroy on the edges of the local village it is the perfect location for a proper Halloween experience.

“We know there are other Halloween alternatives out there but we feel the one being held in Pomeroy will have the edge and the horror in store is very well planned with guaranteed frights and thrills the order of the night.

“The tour itself will provide drama, frights and camaraderie as the courageous groups meander around the forest for over an hour ably led by a number of sinister guides through a never-ending stream of horror masterminded by our local team.

“We have a team of actors in place to assist with our production and a large number of volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly on the night and that all our customers go away terrified but happy with their experience.

“The combination of the natural local terrain and trees along with the imagination of the team behind the event ensure the experience is one not to be forgotten, certainly not for the faint-hearted and one which will hopefully bring you back year after year to undergo the many new horrors we can offer.

“We will guarantee a new experience every Halloween with the only limitations upon us being our own imaginations.
