Pomeroy ready to welcome home Andrea Begley
FINAL preparations are being put in place for the homecoming The Voice winner Andrea Begley to her hometown of Pomeroy on Friday evening.
Banners and balloons have been hoisted to celebrate the new singing superstar who triumphed in front on millions last Saturday night.
Live music will be on offer in the centre of the village from 5pm onwards and Cookstown District Council will be presenting Andrea with a Civic Award to recognise her amazing achievement on the BBC singing competition.
Please be advised that there will be traffic disruptions in the area expected from 4-8pm on Friday evening.
