Pond Park Christmas craft fair

Pond Park Primary School’s Christmas Craft Fair takes place at the school next week, on Thursday November 13 from 6.30-9pm.

The Christmas Craft Fair is now firmly established as a major shopping event and one of the highlights in Lisburn’s Christmas calendar, for those looking for presents that are unusual, handmade and of high quality.

This year the school PTA will be welcoming 30 selected designer makers to showcase and sell their work directly to the public.

The stalls will be featuring beautiful and unique contemporary craft, to include Christmas decorations, jewellery, textiles, glass, ceramics, candles, soaps, stationery as well as a wide variety of artisan food products to include cupcakes, handmade chocolates, cookie jar mixes, gourmet apples, jams and chutneys and much more. Good are across all prices brackets, ensuring the fair provides something for everyone’s taste and budget.

The craft fair offers an opportunity to buy directly from the artists and makers themselves, learning more about their artwork, techniques and interests.

With buyers also encouraged to contact artists and makers after the event, to buy or commission work and establish a longer term on-going relationship, an event such as this also helps to support local businesses and sole traders, boosting the local economy.

The event offers a full evening’s entertainment, with refreshments available and Santa as well as activities for the children while parents browse the stalls.

Entrance is £2 for adults, children free, all welcome. For further information check out Pond Park PTA’s Facebook page.
