Poppy Appeal is launched - wear yours with pride

A busy period of fundraising in Ballymena was officially launched on Saturday when the Mayor, Cllr. Audrey Wales, opened the ‘Poppy Shop’ at the Services Club.

The shop, which will have poppies, badges, wreaths and crosses for sale, will be open from 9am-5pm each day until November 9.

This year’s Remembrance parade will take place in Ballymena on Sunday, November 10.
