Poppy Appeal thanks

SIR - On Thursday, March 31 the Royal Legion held a supper and entertainment for the Poppy collectors who collected for the Poppy Apeal last year.

The sum raised was £18,600. The RBL would like to thank the Womens’ Section, Ballymoney, Ricky Millar of Take Away 2 Go, B Church Street, Ballymoney and Drumadoon Restaurant, Cloughmills fo rproviding the food.

Take Away 2 Go provided all the hot food and we would like to take this opportunity of thanking him and his staff.

We would also like to thank the members of the branch who worked extrememly hard. The most important thanks fo to the public of Ballymoney and District for all their donations.
