Portrush Post Office on the move again

The move will take place on 26 July and will safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term. Customers will benefit from a brand new, modern, purpose built serving counter while the same range of Post Office products will be offered.

A Post Office spokesperson, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to safeguard the future of Portrush Post Office while, at the same time, offering our loyal customers an enhanced service with improved access to our valued and trusted services.

“We are confident local people will welcome our proposal but naturally, before taking such an important step, we would like to hear their views and comments, particularly about access and facilities at the proposed new location or any local issues specific to Portrush they would like us to consider.”

Anyone who wishes to comment on the relocation of Portrush Post Office, or who has any questions, should write to: Post Office Ltd, National Consultation Team, PO Box 2060, WATFORD, WD18 8ZW by 20 July.

To facilitate the move to the new location the branch will close at the current site at close of business on July 19. During this short closure customers may use the Dhu Varren branch at Hillcrest Service Station or any other branch that is convenient to them.
