The Sea Cadets Corps in Portrush is extremely lucky to have such excellent leadership – and I know the cadets are hugely appreciative.

“I congratulate Lieutenant David Philpot on the hard work and commitment which has led to this award of the Cadet Forces Medal and bar, a sentiment which I know will be echoed by his local community. I hope that this success will inspire others to follow his lead for the doors are always open both to welcome potential volunteer Adult Instructors and equip them for the role and also to bring along new young people to join Sea Cadets.”
