Portrush WI Vice-President, Eileen Caldwell welcomed members from Institutes in the Riada Area to their International / Visitors’ Night.
.A warm welcome was also given to Margery Thompson who gave a very enlightened talk on Associated Country Women of the World. The competition, a child’s knitted hat, was won by Vera McMullan, Ballintoy and Jenny Lockhart, Portrush.
Birthday girls were Eileen Slater, Ballymoney and Anne McGonigle, Portrush. Judging also took place for representatives to go forward to the Riada Area Spring Meeting for flower arrangements. The winners were Anne Jack and Anne McGonigle. Best in Show arrangement went to Anne McGonigle.
