Portstewart RTC: police appeal

Police in Coleraine are appealing for information following an RTC involving two cars in the Portmore Road/Central Avenue area of Portstewart at approximately 12.44pm on Sunday, 27 July.

Police had signalled to the male driver of a green Honda Civic to stop on the Lever Road, Portstewart, which he failed to do.

Police then pursued the vehicle. Due to the volume of traffic the Police vehicle then pulled back and observed the route of the vehicle. A short time later a collision occurred between the Honda Civic and a VW Tiguan.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
