Poundland to open second city store

Details are still to be confirmed and Poundland said it would reveal the location of its new store in the coming weeks.

To mark the occasion there will be a family fun day with a well known celebrity.

Back in 2010 the retailer opened its first store in Ferryquay Street in the city.

The Sentinel asked if the new store would be located in the Waterside area of the city but a spokesperson said no details were available at this time.
