Power restored to most homes in County Antrim after cut say NIE

Gracehill Primary School in Ballymena will be closed on Monday because of the power cut.

Power has been restored to most homes in County Antrim that were without supply on Monday morning, Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) has said.

Earlier, several thousand homes in Ballymena, Cullybackey and Portglenone were without power due to a fault at NIE’s main substation in Ballymena.

A spokeswoman said about 20 homes are still without electricity.
