Power to the people?

A PUBLIC clock in Bushmills has stopped because the power has been cut off.

DUP councillor Robert McIlroy said he believed the electricity came from the Northern Bank but since it closed the power has been severed.

Cllr McIlroy said people would like to see power restored to the clock tower.

Independent councillor Price McConaghy said it was "very detrimental" that the clock is not working.

Moyle Council Chair Cllr Cara McShane (Sinn Fein) said clarity is needed after Cllr McIlroy said they should write to the Northern Bank.
