Praise for Carrick ATC
A local councillor has offered his congratulations to the 2062 (Carrickfergus) Squadron Air Training Corps after they were handed the SRAFONI Trophy.
The award is presented by the Senior RAF Officer in the province to the best Air Cadet Squadron.
Mid and East Antrim UKIP councillor Noel Jordan said: “The Squadron should be very proud that a long established youth organisation from the borough have achieved this award. I would like to wish the cadets every success in the future in whatever career they choose.”
The Squadron meets every Monday night at 7pm, based at Prince William Way.
