Praise for Dominican pupils

DOMINCAN College Principal, Dr Bob Cummings, has praised his pupils following the pubication of the A Level and AS level results.

The Portstewart school had a pass rate of over 99 percent, with 70 percent of the pupils gaining at least three grades at A* to C.

Dr Cummings said: “The press warnings about students not being able to gain places at universities were misplaced, and well over 90% have been placed.”
