Praise for Irish Guards concert
A charity concert in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund has been praised by a local MLA.
DUP MLA Carla Lockhart said: “It was fantastic and very well supported and for a worthy cause. At this time when we are thinking of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme we should also remember those who took part in conflicts since that time and the great help the ABF charity is to these people and their families. The ABF give a lifetime of support to soldiers and former soldiers from the Army, and their families, when in need. They make grants to individuals through their Regiments and Corps.”
