Praise for refuse collection workers over holiday period

The Mayor of Ballymoney has praised council workers who, he says, will be out collecting bins over the holiday period so that no householder will miss a day’s collection.

“This is a tremendous achievement and not many councils would offer this service. We are indebted to our workers,” he added.

Bin collection services of the holiday period will operate as normal on Christmas and Boxing Days and New Year.
