Praise God for grace so freely given

Bolt the door against little anxieties

Keep bravely on and you will see,

The jolts and jars which we encounter

Are part of life’s unfolding destiny.

Praise God for the grace so freely given

The strength to face each passing day,

And faith that keeps you looking upward

Despite the setbacks on the way.

Scan the sky and find a golden streak

Overlook the gloom and clouds of grey,

Mindful faith as a grain of mustard seed,

Warms the heart and lights the way.

Though fresh conditions may confront you

Give thought to the seeds you are sowing,

Unseen hands reach out to help you

Give you strength and keep you growing.
