Prayer releases peace and sweet contentment

Let’s stay the course and keep believing

Our Heavenly father blesses us as we go,

Though around us things are ever-changing

The scripture said it would be so.

Enables us to hold the brighter view,

Though so much lies beyond our knowledge

But childlike faith will see us through.

Let’s give thanks for where we’re presently planted

Make the best of the day that is here

Strength for the hour to you will be given

However hopeless some things may appear.

Rejoice in this springtime of the year

The new budding designed from above,

Place all your cares within God’s keeping

And live in the sunshine of His love.
