Preliminary work for Riverside

During a recent Leisure Services meeting, the Director of Borough Services outlined two options for the Park.

He explained: “We can de-silt and redesign, together with an initial cost estimate for each regarding how Council might deal with the silt build up.”

He also outlined other preliminary work which needed to be done so that Council would be in a better position to decide what to do. The Director then responded to member questions.

It was proposed by Cllr Evelyne Robinson, seconded by Cllr Ian Stevenson that Council authorise the further preliminary work outlined by the Director.
