Premier Inn plans lodged

PLANS to build a new 60-bedroom Premier Inn Hotel and 120-seater family restaurant in the Waterside have moved a step closer to becoming a reality with a submission for approval now with the local planning service.

The application is connected to a major new scheme proposed for the Crescent Link that could see up to 3,000 people employed by the time it is completed

Also proposed in the immediate area is a cinema, exhibition centre, private health facility, petrol station, and state of the art facilities for high-tech and other businesses.

The plans for the Premier Inn and restaurant have been lodged for "Lands South East of 20 Crescent Link."

The proposal is for a: "60 Bedroom Premier Inn Hotel and Family Restaurant with associated landscaping, access and car parking."
