Presentation to community official

A PRESENTATION has been made to Maurice McCurdy to mark the end of his five year reign as Chairman of Dunseverick Community Association.

He was presented with a voucher to mark the occasion by Gretta Scott Campbell from Whitepark Bay Youth Hostel where the Association is now holding its meetings.

Community Association Secretary Harold Kerr paid tribute to Maurice’s leadership of the group of which he still remains a hard working member.

Maurice’s work as the main contact for the Neighbourhood Watch in the area has been well acknowledged and he is also well-known as a member of Dunseverick Accordion Band.

Meanwhile, anyone who would like to attend the next meeting of the Dunseverick group should go along to the next meeting in Whitepark Bay Youth Hostel on May 17 (8pm).
