Press on, keep on sowing what is good
“Dear friends let us love one another, for love comes from God.” 1 John 4:7
Love in the heart makes us more conscious of
The pain and suffering we meet on the way,
New strength is found while helping another,
Let’s be tactful in what we say.
We can’t meet a kindness without God’s approval,
He rewards in His own special way,
As we cast our bread upon the waters
He says it returns after many days
Though some words are short, they leave behind
Welcome echoes of courage and grace,
Thus giving another the confidence needed
The rest of his journey to face.
True, life is a mixture of many things,
Teardrops, pleasure, laughter and pain,
Press on, keep sowing what is good
And the Lord will bring forth the grain.
