Primary 1 deadline

THE Western Education and Library Board’s (WELB) Transfer and Open Enrolment Section is reminding parents the closing date for receipt of application forms for children commencing Primary 1 and Reception Class in September 2012 is noon Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

A spokesperson stated: “Parents/guardians should note that only one application form should be completed with each primary school listed in order of preference.”

If parents have not already contacted Primary School Principals regarding the admissions procedure they are advised to do so now to request an application form and Admissions Booklet.

“Parents/guardians can also view/download booklets by district council area and application forms from the Board’s website, www.welbni.org . Copies can also be obtained on request from Board Headquarters or local libraries,” the spokesperson added.
