Gillie the Poodle was the star of the show.

Organised by the Dog Warden Service of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in partnership with the Dogs Trust, children in primary five were encouraged to think about the time and care that a dog needs on a daily basis through a fun and informative workshop.

A question and answer session was held along with a demonstration of microchipping equipment and case studies on rescue dogs before the all-important freebies were handed out to each pupil.
