Mr Sands, and other businesses at Kinnego Marina, have been left struggling after a massive rise in Lough Neagh levels during heavy rain left the business park submerged in filthy flood water.

Three other businesses, South Shore Marine, Evolution Motorworks and Custom Covers, were also badly affected as Lough levels reached unprecedented highs.

Many other busineses including market gardening firm Foxberry Farms in Derrytrasna and farms around the lough shore suffered dreadfully in the aftermath of storm Frank.

And residents on the Upper Bann and Blackwater plains and lough shore are still struggling after severe flooding.

Mr Sands has invited Prince Harry to visit this area to see the severity of the damage in Northern Ireland.

“He would be very welcome,” said Mr Sands.

The prince is visiting St Michael’s on Wyre to see the efforts that are being undertaken in helping to rebuild the village which saw many lose their homes.

As a county, Lancashire was one of the worst to be affected by December’s unprecedented flooding which saw storms Desmond, Eva, Frank and Gertrude all wreak havoc on the region.

Harry is meeting residents of the village as well as key figures from the community and council.
