Prison Service boss thanks Mallusk training provider for generous donation

Newtownabbey-based PeoplePlus NI has donated £750 worth of toys and games to the Maghaberry Prison Visitors Centre.

Speaking about the donation, the firm’s Managing Director, Tina McKenzie said: “Visiting relatives on the site can be a challenging time for families, and they are often overlooked by support networks. With this donation I hope that children will have a more enriching experience at the visitor centre, and that families can focus on spending quality time together.”

Director General of the Northern Ireland Prison Service, Sue McCallister welcomed the donation, saying: “I am delighted with the donation. We really strive to provide excellent facilities for all of our visitors and I’m sure the children with be delighted with all of the new toys. I would like to thank Tina McKenzie and PeoplePlus NI for their generosity.”
