Probation office is damaged

VANDALS have targeted the Probation Board offices on the Limavady Road in the Waterside. Police are have appealed for information on the culprits.

Damage was caused to the glass pane in the front door of the Probation Board offices on the Limavady Road last weekend (4-7).

Across the river a digger was torched in the Creggan area of Londonderry last Monday. The vehicle was set on fire at a site on Blighs Lane on Monday, March 7. The incident was reported to police around 8pm.

Elsewhere, a house in Springham Park was burgled during the early hours of Tuesday (8th). A handbag, purse and keys were taken. Two males and a car were seen in the area at the time.

Police are also hunting those responsible for ransacking a house in Culdaff Gardens sometime between 6pm on Monday (7) and 11am the following day. A television was damaged.
