Probus Club

Coleraine Probus Club held their weekly meeting in Portstewart Golf Club where the speaker was Norman Martin who have a fascinating talk on Artists, Composers and Alcohol.

The talk began with circulation of a photograph of a carved statue of King Tutankhamen. Norman explained that when the King's tomb had been opened in the 1920's, it contained six jars which, although their contents had evaporated, had been identified as wine jars.

A vote of thanks to Norman was proposed by Dermot Jennings.
