Programme delivers first aid course for Rainey Old Boys

RAINEY OB RFC recently secured support from the Living and Learning Project for the delivery of a sports first aid course for some of its coaches and volunteers.

Participants in the course also received a first aid kit for use at club training and matches.

Living and learning together is a five-year Big Lottery funded programme assisting communities in the Magherafelt and Antrim area to enhance and develop skills, to address health and wellbeing issues and develop social inclusion.

All courses available through the project will be promoted through www.nrc.ac.uk/livingandlearningtogether.

There are a wide range of activities that can be provided through the programme free of charge to the community such as; healthy eating, stress management, fitness activities and sports for young people.
