Progressive support for Shopmobility Lisburn

SHOPMOBILITY Lisburn has received a £1,000 Community Award from Progressive Building Society.

Established in 1997, Shopmobility Lisburn provides scooters and wheelchairs for people with temporary or permanent mobility problems. The organisation has a presence at Bow Street Mall, Sprucefield and Lisburn Square.

Shopmobility Lisburn has grown steadily over the years and now has a membership in excess of 3,700. The money from the Progressive Community Award will go towards the purchase of a new scooter to help handle the increased usage as membership develops.
