Promoting Positive Behaviour

Parents often face a variety of situations, from their child throwing a tantrum in a supermarket; not eating at meal times; refusing to go to bed; lashing out when things don't go their way.

Now a free workshopcoming to the borough this summer will provide parents with insight and information on how to effectively communicate with children on their own level.

The Promoting Positive Behaviour workshop is coming to Portrush on Thursday, June 9 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

The workshop aims to help parents understand their child’s behaviours and cope with difficult situations more effectively. It will give parents a more complete understanding of managing and responding to their child’s feelings and establishing a strong relationship between the parent and child.

The workshop will look at practical evidence-based strategies and approaches you can use to create positive solutions for your family and share your experiences and insights with other parents.

Parents that have previously taken part in the workshop found it extremely beneficial.
