Prostitution reports up in 2011

PROSTITUTION is up in Londonderry with six reports of alleged offending in the city in the first six months of 2011 compared to five in 2010.

The PSNI received no reports for alleged prostitution in either Limavady or Strabane over the two years.

Fermanagh is Northern Ireland’s prostitution hot spot according to the information which was released in response to a Freedom of Information request.

There were 12 reports in Fermanagh in both 2010 and in the first six months of 2011.
