Protestant community suffers paint-bomb attacks

THE Walker Memorial in Society Street and the Tullyally Resource Centre were paint-bombed by vandals in separate attacks over the past two weekends.

Paint was thrown over the Walker Memorial plinth in Society Street sometime between Friday, September 24 and Monday, September 27. Anyone who witnessed the damage taking place is asked to contact a member of the City Centre Neighbourhood Team on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously through the "Crimestoppers" charity on freephone 0800 555 111.

A small amount of paint was thrown at a mural on the gable wall of Tullyally Resource Centre in Derry. The damage was noticed on Monday morning (4th).
